JAE LEE
Chef Jae Lee specializes in creating Korean and other Asian American hospitality concepts. His strength include coaching the mindsets of leaders, operations efficiency, long term solutions and in creating systems and processes. He is a creative story teller through food and design. His bright, authentic and energetic personality is naturally fit for all media.
He is currently the founder & chef of Nowon East Village & Bushwick and is the co-culinary council of Sylvia Center, a non profit that educates young people and families through culinary programming to promote health and well-being.
His hobbies include going on walks with his wife, weightlifting, running, boxing & Brazilian jiu jitsu. He is an avid Roman Catholic and believes that faith is what saved him from alcoholism and other recreational drugs. He’s been living sober since January 2021.
He currently lives in Long Island City, NYC with his wife, Rebecca and their newborn daughter Mila.
